Autumn Rain

The rain is finally back in Oregon! I've been listening to it patter on the skylight in my living room and watching it fall gently outside. Fall is officially here, and I’m so excited! I've been waiting and waiting... Most people think I’m crazy for wanting the rain to return, but I love the chilly weather and the coziness of snuggling up with a blanket, a book, and a mug of tea. You just can’t get that feeling in the sunny summer! Of course, by March I'll be ready for sunshine again, but until then, I'm going to thoroughly enjoy the gray days of a Pacific Northwest fall/winter.
